Annual Youth Hunts
The future of our sport rely on the efforts of those generations younger than us. To help promote those efforts and educate youth in the importance of what Quail Forever, we are making plans to host an annual hunt, showcasing why our organization is important, but at the same time having some fun with our leaders of tomorrow.
Monthly Meetings
Our chapter typically has monthly board meetings especially as the banquet date gets closer. Our goal, now that we have the habitat project, is to hold membership meetings and learning seminars there. You will begin to receive more information about our membership meetings and the things we all can do to improve quail habitat in Alabama.
Member Hunts
As most of you know, finding good areas to hunt quail is very difficult. Our chapter is actively searching for opportunities for land lease and/or purchase to provide access to quail hunters to have safe and productive areas from which to work dogs and hunt. We hope this will allow our membership to form bonds and friendships in the field, all in the efforts of conservation.
Social Get-Togethers
The Alabama Covey Rise Chapter hopes to soon host a Chapter social get together at one of the local sporting clays venues. This is a great opportunity to meet new friends, enjoy some great food and have some fun shooting sporting clays. MORE INFORMATION TO FOLLOW!
